The guided, draw hunts include all meals, field accommodations and transportation, packing of gear and trophies, in-field game care and guide fees. All 2 on 1 hunts require booking 2 hunters. The hunter is responsible for transportation to/from the hunt location, hunting license cost and applicable sales tax. All hunt dates and camp locations are tentative and subject to change due to weather or regulatory or schedule changes.
The unguided draw-elk hunts include a scouting report, packing of food, gear and camping equipment to and from the chosen camp location with a one pack mule per person limit, and packing of elk quarters, cape and antlers to the nearest trailhead. Providing all food, and camping equipment is the hunter's responsibility.
Step 3 - To Apply for a Draw Elk Hunt:
Please enclose a personal check for $500, for each hunter, as a deposit on the hunt. Each hunter must also submit a credit card number with an expiration date of 07/2011 or later. Your credit card will be billed a small application fee at the time the application is made. In early April, your card will be billed for the highest license fee on your application. Should you be unsuccessful in the draw, your license fee will be credited back to your credit card. Upon drawing a license, a 50% deposit on the hunt is due to Elite Outfitters by July 1. The remaining 50% balance is due 30 days prior to the hunt. If you fail to draw a license and you wish to receive a refund on your deposit, notify Elite in writing and Elite will refund your deposit (minus a $100 licensing fee) within 30 days of notification. Upon drawing a license, all deposits are nonrefundable.

Step 8 - Everyone must fill out the information below.
To all persons, be it known, that _______________________________________________________________, GRANTOR/HUNTER, does hereby make and grant a limited power of attorney to Johnny Hughes and/or Denise Hughes of Elite Outfitters and/or Antler Adventures and does thereupon constitute and appoint said individuals as my attorney-in-fact. My attorney-in-fact shall have limited powers and authority to undertake such acts as herein described on my behalf that I could do personally, with full power of substitution and revocation. Granted are the powers to apply such special hunt applications and licenses in the state of New Mexico. My attorney-in-fact hereby accepts this appointment subject to it’s terms and agrees to act and perform in said fiduciary capacity consistent with my best interests as he, in his best discretion, deems advisable, and I affirm and ratify all acts so undertaken. This power of attorney shall be revoked by disability of the Grantor, and shall otherwise continue in full force and effect until revoked by subsequent writing.
In consideration for my being permitted to participate in the activities of Elite Outfitters and/or Antler Adventures, I agree to the following waiver and release. I acknowledge that hunting and other wilderness activities have inherent risks, hazards and dangers for anyone, that cannot be eliminated, particularly in a wilderness environment, I understand that these risks, hazards and dangers include without limitation: 1) Activities involving mules and horses in rugged country; 2) Encounters with wildlife, animals and insects; 3) Activities involving wilderness travel and camping; 4) Inclement weather conditions; 5) ATV’s and other vehicles; and 6) Activities involving bows/arrows and firearms. I understand the risks, hazards and dangers described above and have had the opportunity to discuss them with Elite Outfitters and/or Antler Adventures. I understand that these activities may require good physical conditioning and a moderate degree of outdoor skills and knowledge. I believe I have good physical conditioning and the degree of outdoor skills and knowledge for me to safely engage in these activities. I understand that I have responsibilities. I am voluntarily using the services of Elite Outfitters and/or Antler Adventures with full knowledge of the inherent risks, hazards and dangers of the activities described above and have discussed them with Elite Outfitters and/or Antler Adventures. I hereby assume and accept any and all risks of injury, paralysis or death. Lastly, I, for myself, my heirs, successors, executors, and subrogees, hereby knowingly and intentionally waive and release, indemnify and hold harmless Elite Outfitters and/or Antler Adventures, their directors, officers, agents, employees and volunteers from and against any and all claims, actions causes of action, liabilities, suits expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) which are related to, arise out of, or are in any way connected with my participation in these activities.
Minors: In consideration for the listed minor to being permitted by Elite Outfitters and/or Antler Adventures to participate in the wilderness activities which include without limitation, the use of it’s services, animals and equipment, I, as parent, guardian or custodian agree to the following waiver, release and indemnification: The undersigned parent, guardian or custodian of the listed minor, for himself/herself and on behalf of said minor hereby joins in the foregoing Waiver and Release and hereby stipulates and agrees to save and hold harmless, indemnify and forever defend Elite Outfitters and/or Antler Adventures, their directors, officers, agents, employees and volunteers from and against any claims actions, demands, expenses or liabilities made or brought by such minor or by anyone on behalf of said minor, as a result of said minor’s participation in the activities of Elite Outfitters and/or Antler Adventures.
