The Antlers
Each antler chandelier is constructed of authentic, shed antlers from wild, free-ranging elk and mule deer in the Sacramento Mountains of central New Mexico. The antlers used by Antler Adventures are naturally shed by elk and deer each year. The males "drop" their antlers each spring before growing a new set during the summer. Antler Adventure’s artisans comb the mountains each summer to collect these shed antlers for their custom pieces.
Due to the unique shapes of each antler, each antler chandelier is immediately a custom original. A piece might be replicated, but it is impossible to be duplicated. All pieces were hand-crafted and created with great attention to detail. These heirloom-quality creations will provide decades of beauty and enjoyment.
The Chandeliers
We have several chandeliers under construction. Most are constructed using only elk antlers. Pendant-style lighting is used for each chandelier. Sizes of the chandeliers will vary considerably depending on the types and numbers of antlers used in construction.
Our theory is most chandeliers, and anything else made with antlers for that matter, use too many antlers. The pieces end up too busy. We typically build chandeliers with fewer antlers and concentrate on showing individual characteristics of antlers versus a "pile" of antlers. We will have pictures soon and you'll see what we're saying.
We are looking for retailers who are interested in carrying our antler products. Our goal is to manufacture and wholesale the pieces, not retail them. Wholesale prices for antler chandeliers will range from $400 to $1500, depending on the size of the chandelier and the number of antlers used in making it. The high quality of the work we do and the low prices we'll ask, will SLAY the competition!
